Hey guys, I'm Nita Homie and welcome back to my channel. Today, I'm sharing homemade protein bars, also known as energy bars or granola bars. These healthy protein bars are easy to make and made with 100% natural ingredients, no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or additives. They're less expensive when compared to store-bought protein bars. These healthy granola bars are great as an on-the-go breakfast or as a quick evening snack, or even as a post-workout snack. Children can have this as a healthy energy bar, especially during exam time. It's loaded with protein, fiber, antioxidants, and omega threes, and great to carry to school or to work. The nutrition profile is attached at the end of the video. So, without wasting much time, let's get started with the recipe. Now, first, I'm roughly chopping some almonds into a bowl and measuring 300 grams of old-fashioned rolled oats. Now, you can also use instant oats instead, but rolled oats are less processed and have more fiber. Add in 100 grams of whole wheat flour, 75 grams of jaggery powder (other options are coconut sugar, cane sugar, or brown sugar). Add in 2 tbsp flax seeds for that extra antioxidants and omega threes, and in 2 tablespoons freshly ground flax seeds, also known as flax meal, into a small bowl and then add in about 4 to 5 tbsp of water and mix it really well. Add it into the bowl. The protein in the flaxseed will help to bind the ingredients. I also like to use a freshly ground cinnamon powder, and for that, I am quickly grinding some cinnamon in my chutney grinder. Once ground, add 2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder into the bowl.
