However, now there is a new feature on Instagram that allows users to request verification for their accounts. - Hi, I'm Jessica from tekbloggers.com, and in this video, I will show you how to get verified on Instagram. Let's get started! - The verification feature is built right into Instagram and is completely free. Anyone can submit a request, regardless of the number of followers they have. - To begin, open the Instagram app and tap on the profile icon located in the bottom right corner. Then, tap on the menu icon in the top right corner. From the menu, select "Settings" at the bottom. - Scroll down in the settings options until you find "Request Verification." Tap on it, and you will be taken to a page where you need to enter your full name. - Additionally, you will need to provide a photo of a government-issued identification or official business documents if you are verifying a business account you own. Tap on "Choose File" to attach the required photo from your device's gallery. - Once you have filled in the necessary information and attached the photo, tap on "Send" at the bottom. This will submit your verification request to Instagram. - After submitting your request, you will have to wait for Instagram to review it. If your request gets approved, you will receive a notification, and a blue verified checkmark will appear next to your name on your Instagram profile. - It's important to note that having a higher number of followers or being well-known can increase the likelihood of your request being approved.
