Video instructions and help with filling out and completing Where Form 8815 Amend

Instructions and Help about Where Form 8815 Amend

This is the agreement to amend and extend a contract with a broker. This pertains to modifying either a buyer agency agreement or a listing agreement. If you have a contract and need to make changes in order to buy or sell, make sure to use the agreement to amend and extend the contract. Do not use the agreement to amend and extend the contract with a broker. You should include today's date. If you are changing the listing agreement, this is where you would do so. You would check the "right to sell listing contract" section. As we do not handle leases, you would not need to check the section below it. Include the date of the listing agreement, the county, legal description, and address. If this amendment is only applicable to the listing agreement, you would not need to fill out the buyer exclusive right to buy listing agreement section. Similarly, if you are working with a buyer, you would not fill out the section above. Scrolling down, number one would be where you can extend the buyer agency agreement or listing agreement, whichever is applicable. Number two, which mainly applies to the listing agreement, is where you can change the asking price that will be listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Number three is for any other changes that need to be made. If it is a salary, check "seller". If it is a buyer, check "buyer". Then, ensure that all parties sign the agreement to amend and extend the contract with the broker.
