Instructions and Help about Will Form 8815 Preparation

Hey everybody, welcome back to the channel! In this video, we're going to be sewing the college pattern 7429. This is the dress that has a twist knot in the front. We're going to be doing view A, the one with no sleeves and a collar. I think this dress is great for all body types and I really hope that you can sew one up because I think it'd be great to have in your wardrobe. For view A, we're going to need pieces 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I also want to say that when I do so many videos, I highly recommend having your directions close by. In a video like this, I will be saying a lot of things like "lower left front" or "upper left front". Make sure you look at your directions so you can see exactly which pieces I'm referring to. I don't want to confuse you, so always have your directions close by. Another thing I want to note while I was sewing this video is how important snipping up to your circles is going to be. We're going to be snipping circles first and we have to transfer them from our tissue paper. Remember to transfer all your markings. They're not all so precise, but they're important too. Once you transfer your markings, you have to sew through them and then snip up to the circle. Don't slip through the stitching. That's so important. If you skip that step, you won't be successful at making this dress. So, it's important to transfer your markings, reinforce the circles, and then snip to them. I think this overall is not hard at all. I really hope I do not confuse you. If you do have any questions, leave them below and I'll answer them...
